A successful event depends on dedicated volunteers, and FIRST Wisconsin is seeking individuals interested in serving in KEY Volunteer roles for the upcoming 2026/27 FTC and FRC season.
These critical roles require volunteers who can put the event first, serve teams fairly, and meet role-specific expectations, including avoiding conflicts of interest and completing any required training or skill preparation.
FIRST Wisconsin is seeking a State-Level Volunteer Coordinator for the FTC Program to support FTC event Volunteer Coordinators across the state. This person will help ensure each event coordinator has the guidance, tools, and support needed to run a successful event.
Key Responsibilities
Work with FTC event Volunteer Coordinators before and during the season to provide support and answer questions.
Share lessons learned from other events and help document challenges so they can be addressed and avoided in the future.
Coordinate one-on-one or group check-ins with event Volunteer Coordinators as needed.
Use and continue learning VMS to support volunteer coordination across FTC events.
Preferred Experience
Experience serving as an event Volunteer Coordinator in any FIRST program.
Availability during the season to communicate regularly with individual event Volunteer Coordinators.
A working knowledge of VIMS and an interest in learning more about the system.
This is just one of the many KEY positions we would like to have filled prior to this season's Kickoff.
If you are ready to take the next step in your volunteer journey, please email us to learn more about these opportunities.
